1984: World’s strongest man can’t prevent the new Ford Tempo from escaping

Back in 1983, Isuzu created an I-Mark television advertisement showing a very strong, very angry man loathing his Chevy Vega so much that he flips the car over with brute strength. That must have inspired the marketers for New England Ford dealerships because this commercial for the new Tempo came out the next year.
Featuring the Strongest Man in the World at the time, John Wooten, who seems semi-enraged about the existence of the Tempo Diesel, we observe the Tempo defeating Wooten in a tug-o-war battle with its mighty 82 lb-ft of Mazda diesel torque. Aaaaargh!
